Hey there, I'm Rebecca Soja!
a design scientist [in progress], tinkering at the intersection of people, place, and practice.

Although I'm an Architect by training and license, my professional identity is constantly evolving as new experiences and knowledge turn what could have been a linear career into a squiggly one.
Call me a generalist, but I'm not a "unicorn" who does it all.

I'm a generalist who "specializes"
leveraging facilitation, people and information management, and cross-functional applications to design processes and operating systems so that multi-disciplinary teams can reach their full potential and work together towards the more holistic outcomes the design of built environments impact.
I also have a hypothesis that:
IF co-creators of the built environment feel and perform at their highest potential,
- - - - - - -
THEN they develop, design, build, and maintain buildings and spaces for occupants and the public to reach their potential too.

It's one of the principles behind an upcoming project I call
BRAINS
building
A comprehensive approach to realize outcomes at the intersection of people, place, and practice.
-
Augmenting the collective brain power of co-creators.
-
Integrating technology and the craft of human connection.
-
Longevity in and of the built environment.
-
Flourishing in and by design.
MORE ON THAT LATER!
